The Friends of the Charles Rogers Wildlife Refuge (FORR) will dedicate two new observation platforms overlooking the large Upper Marsh at the Refuge on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the first observation platform in the center of the sanctuary, which is located off West Drive in Princeton. It will be followed by a bird walk to look for early spring migrants in the Refuge and in the adjacent Institute for Advanced Studies Woods. All events are open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Support for the construction of the new observation platforms, which provide two expansive views of the Upper Marsh, was provided by the Washington Crossing Audubon Society, Princeton Township, New Jersey American Water Company, and James Donahue, Carpenter.
